  2. Loved this! I’m really keen on getting back into the hobby, with Necrons always being a favourite of mine. Can anyone recommend a place I could go online to ask a few questions and get some advice? It’s been somewhere in the region of 15 years since I last collected, so I’m really out of the loop! Thanks 😊

  3. still have to say, overwatch is the single reason i quit 40k. As an orkplayer, its wasnt fun at all.

  4. The ultra marines look so sick! Did you get them in a specific set or in different sets? If so, could you tell me pls?

  5. A little late maybe: On one hand I really enjoyed the battle report. On the other hand I would refuse to play on such a table. Its just a flat parkingspace without any cover and a ring of terrain around the table edge. XD

  6. These are by far the best battle report videos on YouTube! And actually very encouraging for new players to get into the hobby as it's so easy to follow and understand!

I myself am now looking into joining the exciting universe of WH40k and looking to start with a 500 Point Necron Army.

What are the current rules for running 500 point armies? I always thought you needed to run 1 HQ and 2 Troops minimum? Or is that different for 500 Point games?

  7. It would be great to collab with an animator to animate these battle reports!

A short 2 or 3 minute action packed animation that translates the moves and fights into something cool!

  8. Pausing the video just to point out how impressed I am with the glow on your necrons. A lot of attempts I've seen to pull off the glow effect doesn't turn out very well in my eyes, but yours looks fantastic.

  9. Again such an incredible video, love this battle report, I've never played 40k yet but I'm familiar with other tabletops, thank you so much for this beginner friendly video with great editing and voice over

  10. Hey man, thank you for introducing me to warhammer I bought myself the Space Marines, and I have never had this much fun!thx!

  11. This was the first video I saw of a WH40K battle report and inspired me and my brother to get into the hobby with a small army. Now we both have our small armies just before the 9th Edition.

  12. Please do more small battle reports! Much more fun and characterful than the big games elsewhere 😁 Keep up the good work. I love how you guys don't take it too seriously! Stay safe 👍

  13. Hi, very new to the hobby, and I couldn't help but notice that the necrons didn't do any morale saves. I guess it could makes sense lore wise but I tried Googleing it and I could not find anything to suggest that's the case. Tldr: necrons immune to morale??

  14. I'm still learning how to play, and this smaller battle report was very helpful, thank you.

  15. IS there somewhere I can preview Necron Dynasty paint schemes and game rules? It's super easy to find stuff on Space Marines but for Necrons it's just crumbs…

  16. I noticed that you said that the captain has a master crafted Bolt Rifle witch is not true, the captain is carrying a Boltstorm Gauntlet so yeah😅😂

  17. i stopped playing 40k after 6th edition, and for awhile its felt like so much was different that i would have to almost relearn the game entirely. Your videos cover the basics well and do a great job of explaining things.

  18. Your video is very nicely produced, you seem like solid guys and it's well done, very clearly explained. That having been said? 33 minutes to watch a one-sided slaughter, that was BORING guys, the marines never even had a chance. I don't know anything about Warhammer 40k but I do know a hell of a lot about tabletop gaming, and just from this, it seems like an incredibly imbalanced game. The Necrons can not only regenerate their troops but have very high armor, it seemed like these marines had a hard time doing anything to them. I mean, I'm just trying to imagine a situation where I'm at a game table, knowing I'm going to lose, and having to play for another 20-30 minutes to watch an already foregone conclusion play out. Not great. Not great at all.

  19. Absolutely love this. Have always been intimidated playing a game, but you have helped so much. I was wondering what terrain mat you used here? Thanks.
